Introducing janubrim

The topical 0.33% brimonidine gel, marketed as Janu-Brim, was first produced in Iran by Zharf Andishan Navid Salamat (Janus) and is used to treat erythema and redness caused by acne rosacea. This product holds a Knowledge-Based Company certification from the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology. Rosacea is a chronic skin condition typically characterized by erythema and inflammatory lesions in the central facial area. Although the exact pathophysiology is not fully understood, inflammation and vascular dysfunction appear to be key factors. Brimonidine is a selective alpha-2 adrenergic agonist with higher affinity for alpha-2 receptors than alpha-1. By constricting small arteries and veins, this drug can reduce patient erythema.
